History

Community Service

The South Plains Antique Tractor Association ( SPATA ) has been in existence since 1995. Currently, the club has about 175 members from the South Plains and Panhandle of Texas as well as other locations in Texas and New Mexico. We continue to grow each year.

A large portion of the funds raised from our annual tractor and engine show are donated to the Bayer Museum of Agriculture. We also provide support to the Texas Boys Ranch of Lubbock  through activities at the tractor show.
We are a non-profit with a 501(c)(3) designation.  All donations, including restored or restorable tractors, are tax deductible.
